Warner Bros. releases the character posters of its upcoming blockbuster comedy “Due Date” starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis as two unlikely companions who are thrown together on a road trip that turns out to be as life-changing as it is outrageous.

The individual posters feature Downey as Peter, Galifianakis as Ethan, the Dog and curiously...the Can (that contains the ashes of Ethan's father).

In the film, Downey plays Peter Highman, an expectant first-time father whose wife’s due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan—on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter’s last nerve.

Directed by Todd Phillips (“The Hangover”), “Due Date” also stars Michelle Monaghan (“Made of Honor”), Oscar® nominee Juliette Lewis (“Cape Fear,” “Whip It”) and Academy Award® winner Jamie Foxx (“Ray”).

Opening soon across the Philippines, “Due Date” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

'The Red Shoes' Movie, Now Showing!

I was invited by Nuffnang Philippines & Unitel Pictures on The Red Shoes Preview Night at the Podium, last week. The movie may sounds foreign, but it was actually made by Filipinos. It's from the same movie outfit that brought us the hit, Inang Yaya & The Crying Ladies . The Red Shoes is not your usual bubblegum love story, the movie uses a lot of interesting metaphors that makes the film interesting. The choice of Marvin Agustin & Nikki Gil is perfect, I'm not really a fan of these two but after seeing the film, I must say that Nikki Gil is one of those underrated Pinay actresses. Tessie Tomas sure brought up the loud laughs among audience and Iwa Moto brings in the hhmmmm... The story does not really happened in real life, but it makes you feel otherwise. A world class film, I must say. It's gonna worth your every peso.

W arner Bros. debuts the international character posters of its upcoming action-adventure “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” the follow-up to the 2010 smash hit “Sherlock Holmes.” The one-sheets feature the individual characters of bestfriends Holmes and Watson, played respectively by Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. The sequel reunites director Guy Ritchie with stars Downey and Law, as well as producers Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin.

Y oung actress and international music sensation Selena Gomez (“Monte Carlo,” “Hotel Transylvania”) stars opposite Ethan Hawke in Warner Bros.' race-against-the-clock thriller “ Getaway .” In the film, former race car driver Brent Magna (Hawke) is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake, taking it on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.

E va Green (“Kingdom of Heaven,” “Casino Royale”) stars as Angelique Bouchard, a witch who knows how to hold a grudge, in Warner Bros.' new black comedy “ Dark Shadows .” In the film, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), an 18th-century lothario, breaks the heart of a heartless witch by the name of Angelique. When Barnabas declares his love for another, the ethereal Josette (Bella Heathcote), Angelique exacts her revenge on both of them: taking Josette’s life while giving Barnabas an eternal one as a vampire. It’s not much of a life, however, as she proceeds to bury him in a coffin forever…or at least the foreseeable future.

T he Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC) in partnership with St. Joseph Academy of Valenzuela Alumni Association, Salcres Physical Therapy Foundation International Inc., Myshare Foundation and Wow Health and Wellness Optical Clinic, spearheaded a medical mission on June 2, 2018 at Jaime Cardinal Sin Village (JCSV), 728 Housing, Punta Sta. This free medical mission was given to at least 200 individuals relocated from the banks of the Pasig River into one of the country’s first in-city relocation sites in Metro Manila.
