When I saw the trailer of Kick-Ass when I've watch Clash of the Titans at Gateway Cinema weeks ago, it really get's me excited. Luckily, I was able to score some premiere night invites at Cinema 6 of SM Megamall yesterday :) Here's some quick synopsis: Teen geek & comic book fanatic Dave Lizewski (played by Aaron Johnson) makes a totally bizarre but brave decision--- he is going under disguise as a superhero, minus the superpowers. And he’s going to be known as Kick-Ass. Donned in a green and yellow wetsuit bought online, he prowls the city to fight crime. However, he’s not the only superhero out there. INCEPTION Gets IMAX Release in the Philippines

Pictures recently announced that “ Inception ,” directed by Christopher Nolan (“The Dark Knight”) and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, will be released to IMAX theatres in the Philippines simultaneously with the film's wide release in Digital 2D and conventional cinemas on July 15. The film marks the third IMAX project for Christopher Nolan , following the record-breaking IMAX release of “The Dark Knight,” which grossed more than $65 million at IMAX theatres. “Inception,” a contemporary sci-fi action film set within the architecture of the mind, will be digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with IMAX DMR technology.

I just home from the advance screening of I AM NUMBER FOUR at Cinema 6 of SM Megamall. Before I start, let me say that this kind of movies really tickle my fancy. I love fantasy films with great CGI and all that stuff, so when I received an invite for this movie, I immediately said yes. For your reference here's a short synopsis of the film: Extraordinary teen John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events-his first love (Dianna Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.
