JobsLive Mega Job Fair at SM Supermalls


Jobseekers may have their lucky weekend at SM Supermalls with the JobsLive Mega Job Fair happening this May 1, 2010 at SM Supermalls. In partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment, JobsLive at SM welcomes the graduates of class 2010 together with others looking for better job opportunities.

In Central Luzon SM City Baliwag, SM City Marilao and SM City Pampanga will host the Jobs Live Mega Job Fair on Labor Day at their respected Event Centers.

It will be participated by mall tenants such as SM Department Store, SM Supermarket and SM Hypermarket, Our Home, Toy Kingdom and other SM retail stores together with companies in neighboring communities including call centers. Application for overseas jobs may likewise be accommodated through the assistance of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

The project is supported by the Bulacan Provincial Youth Sports, Employment, Arts, and Culture Office (PYSEACO) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in Baliwag and Marilao towns in the province of Bulacan, and the City of San Fernando in Pampanga.

Jobseekers may pre-register at the nearest Public Employment Service Office and attend the Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) to become priority applicants. They may also pre-register online via www.phil-job.net. Walk-ins are also welcome provided that they have copies of their resume and picture with them.

Other SM malls with JobsLive event are SM North EDSA, SM Fairview, SM San Lazaro, SM Megamall, SM Southmall, SM Rosales, SM Baguio, SM Dasmariñas, SM Rosario, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Lipa, SM Naga, SM Cebu, SM Iloilo, SM Davao, SM Cagayan de Oro, and SM Bacolod.

SM malls with regular Job Fair are SM Marikina, SM Taytay, SM Sta. Mesa, SM Manila, SM Bicutan, SM Sucat, SM Muntinlupa, SM Tarlac, SM Bacoor, SM Molino, SM Batangas, SM Lucena, and SM Valenzuela.

SM City Clark will host its post-Labor Day Job Fair on May 3 in partnership with the Clark Development Corporation.

More than 1,200 companies are expected to participate in SM Supermalls' Job Fair this year. It will be the third Nationwide Job Fair that SM has organized. In last year’s job fair, a total of 1,186 companies participated with more than 75,000 registered applicants.
