Then & Now Massive Music Festival 2010 - Super Easy Contest!

Just got home from a sumptious dinner at the Spiral Restaurant in Sofitel . We originally set to meet Jojo but she was not feeling well today but V Factory was there to save the day. I will upload the interview with them later. Anyway if you're wondering what's Then & Now Massive Music Festival 2010 it is a definite all-hits show- not an album tour (where the artist/s only sing cuts from a new-released CD), or a promo tour (where the artist/s only push a couple of songs)- so music fans from all over the country can expect to sing and dance to their favorite tunes all night long.

This movie is topbiiled by Gerard Butler (300 & How to Train Your Dragon) as bounty hunter Milo and Jennifer Aniston (Bruce Almighty & Love Happens) as his bail-jumping reporter ex-wife Nicole. Much to his glee, Milo learns that Nicole is his next target and begins his assignment with enthusiasm. However, Nicole is determined to escape from Milo's custody once he has found her. He is determined to find and put her back into jail and take the credit – which is not as easy as it may seem. The exes continually one-up each other – until they find themselves on the run for their lives. They thought their promise to love, honor and obey was tough – staying alive is going to be a whole lot tougher. Until they fake being together to hide from the killers.

As people die in their sleep, a group of young students are determined to stay up and figure out how to beat the demon and save their town. Starring Jackie Earle Haley, Katie Cassidy, Kellan Lutz, Kyle Gallner, Rooney Mara, Thomas Dekker, Freddy Krueger is back to bring A Nightmare on Elm Street again! This remake is directed by Michael Bayers who did some music videos for My Chemical Romance & Green Day. Though he received some negative reviews on his first commercial film, I think that he did well, and it translated to box office too! This movie open as #1 in the US.

P laying the bad guys in Columbia Pictures’ quirky comedy “30 Minutes or Less” are comic actors Danny McBride and Nick Swardson as a couple of guys who think they’re just one great idea away from living the good life. Directed by “Zombieland’s” Ruben Fleischer, “30 Minutes or Less” revolves around Nick (Jesse Eisenberg), a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wannabe criminal masterminds, Dwayne and Travis (McBride and Swardson). The lowlifes kidnap Nick and strap a time bomb to him – with the promise that they’ll blow him up unless he robs a bank. With only a few hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari). As the clock ticks, the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship.

I just home from the advance screening of I AM NUMBER FOUR at Cinema 6 of SM Megamall. Before I start, let me say that this kind of movies really tickle my fancy. I love fantasy films with great CGI and all that stuff, so when I received an invite for this movie, I immediately said yes. For your reference here's a short synopsis of the film: Extraordinary teen John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events-his first love (Dianna Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny. The film is based on the New York Times best selling novel I Am Number Four , written by Jobie Hughes and James Frey (with the pen name of Pittacus Lore). I forgot to check out...

I n Columbia Pictures' new romantic comedy “ Just Go With It ,” a plastic surgeon ( Adam Sandler ), romancing a much younger schoolteacher, enlists his loyal assistant ( Jennifer Aniston ) to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant's kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives. At the center of “Just Go With It” is an everyday guy who has let a careless lie get away from him. “At the beginning of the movie, my character, Danny, was going to get married, but he gets his heart broken,” says Adam Sandler. “The night of his heartbreak he happens to have the ring on and a young lady is nice to him, because she thinks he’s married and thinks he’s harmless and won’t do anything that other guys were trying to do. A light goes off in his head.”

Aside from JoJo, Frankie J, Baby Bash, Diana King, SWV, P.M. Dawn & All-4-One. V Factory is also here in the Philippines to perform in the THEN & NOW Massive Music Festival 2010 in Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Jojo and V Factory is the first few to arrived in Manila, so they give us a chance for a little interview. Too bad, JoJo didn't able to come down (she was staying in Sofitel) because apparently she's sick & too tired to meet us :(
