In anticipation of the opening of the new family comedy “The Muppets,” Disney has just released new character posters taking a visual cue from “Twilight.” Check out the hilarious images below of Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog and Rowlf as Bella Swine, Vamphibian and WereRowlf, respectively.

In “The Muppets,” the world's biggest Muppet fan, Walter, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds. To stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.

Opening across the Philippines on February 2012, “The Muppets” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.

T he Weinstein Company's critically-acclaimed crime comedy “ Killing Them Softly ” starring Brad Pitt will be shown exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas (Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma) starting Dec. 5. I just got home from Cinema 3 of SM Megamall where I watched "More Than A Game", a documentary that follows NBA superstar LeBron James & his 4 other talented teammates through the trials & tribulations of high school basketball in Ohio & LeBron James' journey to fame. Aside from the NBA superstar the film also features Sian Cotton , Dru Joyce III , Willie McGee , Romeo Travis & their coach, Dru Joyce II . 5 young & talented basketball players from Akron, Ohio star in this remarkable true-life coming of age story about uncommon friendship in the face all too common adversities. Coached by a charismatic but inexperienced player’s father, and led by future NBA superstar LeBron James, the “Fab Five’s” improbable 7-year journey leads them from a decrepit inner-city gym to the doorstep of a national high school championship. Along the way, the close-knit team is repeatedly tested—both on and off the court—as LeBron James ’ exploding worldwide celeb...

I watched Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole for two times. One in the advance screening in Cinema 1, SM Megamall courtesy of 99.5 RT and on it's premiere night at IMAX , SM North EDSA the next day. Why? I just want to know what's the difference between the Digital 3D and the 3D at IMAX. When I first saw the trailer of this film, it really caught my attention because of the superb graphic. It has a nice plot too, which makes the movie more interesting. So that means, I have high expectation on this film.
