First-Look: "Cars 2" Pay-Off Poster


Disney/Pixar has just revealed the international pay-off poster of its highly-awaited animated feature “Cars 2” which you can see here. In the film, star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship to exciting new places when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car.

John Lasseter returns to the driver’s seat to direct this follow-up to his 2006 Golden Globe®-winning “Cars.” “Cars 2” is co-directed by Brad Lewis, producer of the Oscar®-winning film “Ratatouille,” and produced by visual effects industry veteran Denise Ream (associate producer, “Up”; visual effects executive producer, “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith”).

The film hits the track in the Philippines on August 24, 2011, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D in select theaters.

Award-winning Environmental Documentary Comes Home: To Close Cinemalaya 2022

The award-winning documentary feature, “ Delikado ,” which draws focus on environmental crusaders who risk their lives protecting the rainforests of Palawan will finally have its Philippine premiere. The 96-minute enviro-thriller docu directed by journalist Karl Malakunas will be screened at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ (CCP) Main Theater (Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo) on Aug. 13 at 3:30 p.m. It will be among the closing films of the 18th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival . In “Delikado,” Malakunas takes viewers to one of the Philippines’ top tourist destinations—Palawan. T he Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC) in partnership with St. Joseph Academy of Valenzuela Alumni Association, Salcres Physical Therapy Foundation International Inc., Myshare Foundation and Wow Health and Wellness Optical Clinic, spearheaded a medical mission on June 2, 2018 at Jaime Cardinal Sin Village (JCSV), 728 Housing, Punta Sta. Ana, Manila City. This free medical mission was given to at least 200 individuals relocated from the banks of the Pasig River into one of the country’s first in-city relocation sites in Metro Manila.
