Evelyn SALT: Spy or Patriot?

As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills & years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues & the question remains: "Who is Salt?"

SALT is played by Angeline Jolie, other cast includes Liev Schreiber, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. This film is directed by Phillip Noyce, the same director for The Bone Collector which is also topbilled by Angelina Jolie. SALT was originally a male character (Tom Cruise) but he back-out, so Angelina Jolie take the spot.

I'm not really a fan of action film, so I don't expect anything big in this movie but it was surprisingly good. It has all those heart thumping scenes that will put you at the edge of your seat. It has that wow factor especially when Salt, together with another man enter the White House. You'll be surprise on how Jolie looked like! The lady on my side (who always put her hand on her ears LOL ) didn't recognize her at first.

Though some stunts/scenes of Evelyn Salt would make you think "How the hell did she escape that?!" Those are really entertaining shoot-outs and car chase scenes especially on the first few minutes of the movie. I think SALT has a lot of actions compared to Tomb Raider and I love how Angelina Jolie preserved her hotness that can be seen through her bikini on the first few minutes of this flick. Hint! Hint! :)

Overall  it's a kick-ass movie that is filled with bloody action scenes that proves a women can be a lead on an action thriller movie.  SALT is now showing across the Philippines, released by Columbia Pictures. runs for 100 minutes, rated PG-13 by the MTRCB.
