The Sorcerer's Apprentice: It's Really The Coolest Job
Here's the plot for this movie: Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It'll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
A perfect movie for kids since this flick has a lot interesting characters and awesome CGI effects. Veronica (Monica Belucci) is so pretty, she really fits her role. Balthazar Blake ( by Nicholas Cage) and Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel) has a lot of funny scenes too. Becky (Teresa Palmer) is just a wallflower I don't feel her that much.
Gregory Woo as Sun Lok
in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"
Watch out for the scene where Dave, out of his laziness used his magic prowess to help him clean his laboratory :) That's one of the most favorite scene. Another favorite is when an evil wizard named Sun Lok appeared at ChinaTown.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice runs for 1 hour & 50 minutes, released by Walt Disney Pictures. Rated GP by the MTRCB. Now showing across the Philippines!
