E ric Bana was first introduced to American audiences in the title role of Mark “Chopper” Read in the feature film Chopper , which premiered at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival and was then released in the U.S. to critical notice after its Australian success. Bana earned awards from the Film Critics Circle of Australia and the Australian Film Institute for his portrayal of Chopper. Bana was seen co-starring in Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down as Delta Sergeant First Class Norm “Hoot” Gibson, one of a group of elite U.S. soldiers, opposite Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor and Tom Sizemore.

Just got home from a sumptious dinner at the Spiral Restaurant in Sofitel . We originally set to meet Jojo but she was not feeling well today but V Factory was there to save the day. I will upload the interview with them later. Remember that contest that I joined last September 19? Well I wanna let you all know that I won that supposed to be 'the best design in PhotoShop' contest but turn-out to be a popularity contest because the contest is based on votes & not on aesthetics. Good thing for me because I'm not really good at designing stuffs. When I saw the announcement post , I'm really ecstatic at first because I won but seeing the contest host's post with words like "disappointed", "effortless", "a huge mistake" & some post on his FaceBook that says "di deserving ung nanalo. haha tsk" it really hurts me. I mean come on, who wouldn't be hurt if you read that? Yup! They are right that my entry is " basura " compare to their contest entry but I'm really surprised that there are some people that would go some miles just to hurt other people just to feel good about themselves. Mister & Miss MedTech 2009 is held at the Our Lady of Fatima University [OLFU], Valenzuela Campus on September 15, 2009. The event started at around 7PM, feel free to grab the images if you need it.

Families and toy lovers propelled Disney/Pixar’s “ Toy Story 3 ” to a No. 1 opening in the Philippines -- garnering a buzz-worthy P55.9-million, 4-day debut weekend gross nationwide for the June 17 to 20 period. This was announced today by Victor R. Cabrera , managing director of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Philippines which distributed the film. Powered by overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth, “ Toy Story 3 ” broke the national, all-time biggest Saturday and Sunday box office records for an animated feature, scoring P20.2-million on Saturday, June 19 and P22-million on Sunday, June 20. (Previous record holder was “ Shrek Forever After ” with P17.5M Saturday and P19M Sunday.)
