When I saw the trailer of Kick-Ass when I've watch Clash of the Titans at Gateway Cinema weeks ago, it really get's me excited.  IMAX Corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures recently announced that “ Inception ,” directed by Christopher Nolan (“The Dark Knight”) and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, will be released to IMAX theatres in the Philippines simultaneously with the film's wide release in Digital 2D and conventional cinemas on July 15. The film marks the third IMAX project for Christopher Nolan , following the record-breaking IMAX release of “The Dark Knight,” which grossed more than $65 million at IMAX theatres. “Inception,” a contemporary sci-fi action film set within the architecture of the mind, will be digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with IMAX DMR technology.

Warner Bros. has just released the new character banners of the movie “ Inception ,” the upcoming sci-fi action-thriller from acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan (the same director who brought us “The Dark Knight,” and “Batman Begins”). The character banners which you can view here , feature the 7 major individual characters led by The Extractor (played by Leonardo DiCaprio ), The Tourist (played by Ken Watanabe ), The Point Man (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt ), The Shade (played by Marion Cotillard ), The Architect (played by Ellen Page ), The Forger (played by Tom Hardy ) and The Mark (played by Cillian Murphy ).

W arner Bros. has just released the character banners for its upcoming action-adventure “ Journey 2: The Mysterious Island .” The banners individually feature the characters played by Dwayne Johnson, Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Hutcherson and Michael Caine. In this follow-up to the 2008 worldwide hit “ Journey to the Center of the Earth ,” the new 3D family adventure “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” begins when young Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson, reprising his role from the first film) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist. It’s a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret.

 I first saw this newly opened Newport Cinema in Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila when they invited me and other bloggers for the special screening of Despicable Me in 3D. The cinemas are spacious and seats are so comfortable. This state of the art theaters are equipped with the latest Dolby Digital Audio technology. They currently have four cinemas and one of those is the Newport ULTRA Cinem a where you can experience twin-seater, fully reclining seats and unlimited popcorn & drinks served by their personal butlers. If you ran out of popcorn or drinks you just have to request through a call button allocated per pod for your personalized service. Cool eh? Resorts World Manila is located just infront of  NAIA3 in Pasay City. In Columbia Pictures’ The Karate Kid , 12-year-old Dre Parker ( Jaden Smith ) could have been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother’s (Taraji P. Henson) career takes them both to China. Dre has a hard time making friends at first but he does make a connection with his classmate Mei Ying – and the feeling is mutual – until cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. Even worse, Dre makes an enemy of the class bully, Cheng. Dre knows only a little karate, and in the land of kung fu, Cheng puts “the karate kid” on the floor with ease. Feeling alone in a foreign land, Dre has no friends to turn to except the maintenance man, named Mr. Han ( Jackie Chan ).
