Finally, the secret is out for celebrity couple Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana !  They have chosen Sunshine 100 to be their home in the city! The couple announced their newest endorsement last Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the launching of Sunshine Pioneer Tower 3 located in Mandaluyong City. The famous celebrity couple is set to tie the knot soon – to live together as husband and wife, and raise their family. And, it is no secret that they are currently building their dream home. Carla has been living with her mother and sister in a townhouse in Quezon City. She considered the three-storey townhouse her first and biggest investment since her foray into show business. Tom, for his part, bought a condo unit for himself the moment he hit big time in showbiz. Since his family is based abroad, condo living suits him well as he lives alone. Just got home from a sumptious dinner at the Spiral Restaurant in Sofitel . We originally set to meet Jojo but she was not feeling well today but V Factory was there to save the day. I will upload the interview with them later. Remember that contest that I joined last September 19? Well I wanna let you all know that I won that supposed to be 'the best design in PhotoShop' contest but turn-out to be a popularity contest because the contest is based on votes & not on aesthetics. Good thing for me because I'm not really good at designing stuffs. When I saw the announcement post , I'm really ecstatic at first because I won but seeing the contest host's post with words like "disappointed", "effortless", "a huge mistake" & some post on his FaceBook that says "di deserving ung nanalo. haha tsk" it really hurts me. I mean come on, who wouldn't be hurt if you read that? Yup! They are right that my entry is " basura " compare to their contest entry but I'm really surprised that there are some people that would go some miles just to hurt other people just to feel good about themselves. "TOY STORY 3" Opens at #1 in the Philippines

Families and toy lovers propelled Disney/Pixar’s “ Toy Story 3 ” to a No. 1 opening in the Philippines -- garnering a buzz-worthy P55.9-million, 4-day debut weekend gross nationwide for the June 17 to 20 period. This was announced today by Victor R. Cabrera , managing director of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Philippines which distributed the film. Powered by overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth, “ Toy Story 3 ” broke the national, all-time biggest Saturday and Sunday box office records for an animated feature, scoring P20.2-million on Saturday, June 19 and P22-million on Sunday, June 20. (Previous record holder was “ Shrek Forever After ” with P17.5M Saturday and P19M Sunday.)

'The Red Shoes' Movie, Now Showing!

I was invited by Nuffnang Philippines & Unitel Pictures on The Red Shoes Preview Night at the Podium, last week. The movie may sounds foreign, but it was actually made by Filipinos. It's from the same movie outfit that brought us the hit, Inang Yaya & The Crying Ladies . The Red Shoes is not your usual bubblegum love story, the movie uses a lot of interesting metaphors that makes the film interesting. The choice of Marvin Agustin & Nikki Gil is perfect, I'm not really a fan of these two but after seeing the film, I must say that Nikki Gil is one of those underrated Pinay actresses.   Tessie Tomas sure brought up  the loud laughs among audience and Iwa Moto brings in the hhmmmm... The story does not really happened in real life, but it makes you feel otherwise. A world class film, I must say. It's gonna worth your every peso.

It's another fun-filled afternoon when SM City Sta. Mesa invited a group of blogger, including me to test their wi-fi within the mall. The connection is still fast despite the fact that there were many of us, using the wifi connection at the SM City Sta. Mesa FoodCourt Area. Of course, there's a reason why SM Sta. Mesa chooses the FoodCourt to be our venue-- the food! :) Anyway, the food stalls are the following: Baliwag Lechon, Aling Lucing, Pinoy Toppings, Chicken Company, Sizzling Plate, Balay Ilocos, Lechon de Cebu, Kusina ni Gracia, Mr. Porkshop, Dimsum Republic, Inihaw Express.
