Just got home from a sumptious dinner at the Spiral Restaurant in Sofitel . We originally set to meet Jojo but she was not feeling well today but V Factory was there to save the day. I will upload the interview with them later. Anyway if you're wondering what's Then & Now Massive Music Festival 2010 it is a definite all-hits show- not an album tour (where the artist/s only sing cuts from a new-released CD), or a promo tour (where the artist/s only push a couple of songs)- so music fans from all over the country can expect to sing and dance to their favorite tunes all night long.

The 2009 Philippine Blog Awards (Luzon) was held at the PETA-PHINMA Theatre last Friday. Here are the list of winners for Luzon. I just got home from Cinema 3 of SM Megamall where I watched "More Than A Game", a documentary that follows NBA superstar LeBron James & his 4 other talented teammates through the trials & tribulations of high school basketball in Ohio & LeBron James' journey to fame. Aside from the NBA superstar the film also features Sian Cotton , Dru Joyce III , Willie McGee , Romeo Travis & their coach, Dru Joyce II . 5 young & talented basketball players from Akron, Ohio star in this remarkable true-life coming of age story about uncommon friendship in the face all too common adversities. Coached by a charismatic but inexperienced player’s father, and led by future NBA superstar LeBron James, the “Fab Five’s” improbable 7-year journey leads them from a decrepit inner-city gym to the doorstep of a national high school championship. Along the way, the close-knit team is repeatedly tested—both on and off the court—as LeBron James ’ exploding worldwide celeb...

I n 2007, German director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film for “The Lives of Others.” The searing portrait of a Stasi agent set against the political intrigue and subsequent collapse of the East German state, the film marked both his debut as a director and one of the most acclaimed releases of the decade. In January 2011, von Donnersmarck returns with his long-awaited follow up and first Hollywood film, “The Tourist,” which follows the exploits of Johnny Depp’s American innocent abroad in Europe, Frank Tupelo - a man who gets more intrigue than he bargains for when he falls for Angelina Jolie’s enigmatic screen siren, Elise.

A ctor-on-the-rise Jesse Eisenberg plays an under-achieving guy who has to put aside his epic falling out with an ex-bestfriend in order to rob a bank, in Columbia Pictures' new, action-comedy “30 Minutes or Less.” In the film, Nick (Eisenberg) is a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wannabe criminal masterminds (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). The lowlifes kidnap Nick and strap a time bomb to him – with the promise that they’ll blow him up unless he robs a bank. With only a few hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Ansari). As the clock ticks, the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship. “Nick is a pizza delivery guy who dropped out of college a few years back and now feels a bit stuck,” says Eisenberg, describing his character. “It takes a bomb getting strapped on him to light a fire under him, so to speak.”

P laying the bad guys in Columbia Pictures’ quirky comedy “30 Minutes or Less” are comic actors Danny McBride and Nick Swardson as a couple of guys who think they’re just one great idea away from living the good life. Directed by “Zombieland’s” Ruben Fleischer, “30 Minutes or Less” revolves around Nick (Jesse Eisenberg), a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wannabe criminal masterminds, Dwayne and Travis (McBride and Swardson). The lowlifes kidnap Nick and strap a time bomb to him – with the promise that they’ll blow him up unless he robs a bank. With only a few hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari). G rammy® Award–winning electronic music duo Daft Punk creates the original music score for Walt Disney Pictures' new sci-fi action-adventure “TRON: Legacy.” From their first single release in 1993, the combined talents of DJs Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter were hailed as a new breed of house innovators. Daft Punk’s sound is a brazen, dance floor-oriented blend of progressive house, funk, electro and techno. Following their brilliant debut in 1997 (Homework), the duo went on to release two more studio albums (Discovery—2001, Human after All—2005) and two live albums (Alive 1997, Alive 2007). When director Joseph Kosinski came on board to helm “TRON: Legacy,” he heard that Daft Punk, whose art form and style were influenced by the original 1982 “TRON,” were interested in the project. A pancake breakfast in Hollywood soon followed, where the three talked about Kosinski’s vision for the film. The three artists found themselves on the same creative page and bega...

I n Columbia Pictures' eagerly awaited “ The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ,” Academy Award®-nominated director David Fincher (“The Social Network”) uncoils the world of author Stieg Larsson’s global blockbuster thriller on the screen. Within the story’s labyrinth lie murder, corruption, family secrets and the inner demons of the two unexpected partners chasing the truth of a 40-year-old mystery. Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) is a financial reporter determined to restore his honor after being convicted of libel. Engaged by one of Sweden’s wealthiest industrialists, Henrik Vanger (Academy Award® nominee Christopher Plummer), to get to the bottom of the long-ago disappearance of his beloved niece, Harriet – murdered, Vanger believes, by a member of his large family – the journalist heads to a remote island on the frozen Swedish coast, unaware of what awaits him.
