Mark Strong Plays "Green Lantern" Leader, Sinestro (Opens June 16)

"Real Steel" Teaser and Poster

D reamWorks Pictures has just revealed the international teaser poster of “ Real Steel ,” a gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech. In the film, Hugh Jackman plays Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next.

"Hangover 2" Grosses $205-M Worldwide

Pictures’ “The Hangover Part II” woke up to staggering box office receipts as the blockbuster comedy grossed $205 million worldwide as of May 30, the fastest of any comedy to surpass $200-M benchmark. The hit film is expected to continue its global success when it opens in the Philippines on June 8, arriving in cinemas in its original and uncut, R-18-rated version.

TITANIC in 3D!

C oinciding with “Titanic’s” centennial year since sailing, Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment jointly announced that James Cameron’s “TITANIC” will be re-released worldwide on April 6, 2012. The release, which marks the 100th anniversary of the Titanic setting sail (April 10th), will present the film in 3D for the first time.

F or a guy in his 30s doing research for a film, going to prom was surprisingly fun. "I didn't know how much I loved prom until I went to five of them this year," jokes Joe Nussbaum, who is director of his own “Prom,” Walt Disney Pictures' new coming-of-age comedy. "It's such an amazingly good feeling. "We walked into a lot of high schools to scout locations, and it can make you feel unnerve,” Nussbaum adds. “You remember it all: the stress, you see kids arguing, or someone walking down the hall looking lonely. And that all comes rushing back. It's not pleasant visiting high school as an adult, and I thought prom would be the same sort of thing. But it wasn't."
