Remember that contest that I joined last September 19? Well I wanna let you all know that I won that supposed to be 'the best design in PhotoShop' contest but turn-out to be a popularity contest because the contest is based on votes & not on aesthetics. Good thing for me because I'm not really good at designing stuffs. When I saw the announcement post , I'm really ecstatic at first because I won but seeing the contest host's post with words like "disappointed", "effortless", "a huge mistake" & some post on his FaceBook that says "di deserving ung nanalo. haha tsk" it really hurts me. I mean come on, who wouldn't be hurt if you read that? Yup! They are right that my entry is " basura " compare to their contest entry but I'm really surprised that there are some people that would go some miles just to hurt other people just to feel good about themselves. More than 37 OFW Bloggers from 21 countries are vying for the most coveted 2009 Best Expats/OFW Blog Awards . The Pinoy Expats/Overseas Filipino Workers Blog Awards or PEBA , together with Friendster.com , Nokia Philippines in cooperation with Smart Communications , Blas Ople Policy Center , School of Labor and Industrial Relations , University of the Philippines and Western Union ; the award giving body aims to recognize and honor the exemplary work of blogging Pinoy Expats/OFW. The 2nd Annual International PEBA Awards is held on   Philamlife Theater , United Nations Ave., Malate, Manila last 27th of December 2009. Red Carpet Ceremony and Press Presentation are conducted prior to the awarding. This year’s theme is “ Filipinos Abroad, Hope of the Nation, Gift to the World” .

Last Monday, I was invited to the  GBX  Bloggers Event at Beer Belly in Madison Square at Madison Square in Mandaluyong City. Me and 8 other blogger was introduced to Miss  Dynes L.
