July may mean rainy days, but for 2022, it also means some executive couch time at SM Cinema with one of Marvel’s blockbuster movies, Thor: Love and Thunder.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder will surely entertain the whole family as the God of Thunder marks his big-screen comeback. Embarking a special journey of self-discovery, Thor’s efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr, the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of new and old allies like King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it is too late.

Each theme was to play a role in Disney/Pixar's new animated adventure “ Cars 2 ,” and co-director Brad Lewis, screenwriter Ben Queen and the Pixar story team, were charged with finding just the right mix for the story. In the film, star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson ) and his best friend, the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy), jump-start a new adventure to exotic new lands stretching across the globe.

The age-old question of whether things happen by accident is at the core of Nicholas Sparks’ “The Lucky One” which is now a Warner Bros. film starring Zac Efron and directed by Academy Award-nominee Scott Hicks (“Shine”). Much to his glee, Milo learns that Nicole is his next target and begins his assignment with enthusiasm. However, Nicole is determined to escape from Milo's custody once he has found her. He is determined to find and put her back into jail and take the credit – which is not as easy as it may seem. The exes continually one-up each other – until they find themselves on the run for their lives. They thought their promise to love, honor and obey was tough – staying alive is going to be a whole lot tougher. Until they fake being together to hide from the killers.

H onesty was never the best policy for serial ladies' man Jacob (Ryan Gosling), until he meets Hannah, played by Emma Stone in Warner Bros.' new, delightful romantic comedy “ Crazy, Stupid, Love .” Unlike all other women, she is somehow immune to his charm and his best pick-up lines, and has no trouble resisting Jacob’s full court press…for a while, anyway.
