Filipinos make culinary history together on December 14, 2009 Monday, 3:30pm at the Araneta Coliseum as mothers, culinary students, bloggers, housewives, chefs & celebrities unite to break the world record for the most number of cheese-based dishes on display, in a single day. Kraft Eden Cheese aims to target having 5,000 unique Filipino cheese-based dishes cooked to set a Guinness World Record on December 14, 2009 at the Big Dome. And they broke the world record ( which was previously held by India: 4,668 dishes) Philippines made 5,845 dishes in total!

StreetDance 3D is a movie about a street dance crew on the verge of breaking up after its leader, Jay, leaves the group unexpectedly. The group loses the use of their rehearsal space, forcing them to try and raise money or practice in other locations. Eventually they secure a space in a ballet school, on the condition that they include 5 ballet dancers from the Royal Dance Crew in their routine. At first, they struggle to get along, but they all become friends in the end. One of the teachers at the ballet school, Helena, takes Carly to a ballet where she starts getting ideas for their routine. When she arrives home, Carly finds Jay waiting for her and the two spend the night together. During a dance battle in a club the next night, the team learn that Jay has betrayed the team by joining The Surge , a rival crew. It's another fun-filled afternoon when SM City Sta. Mesa invited a group of blogger, including me to test their wi-fi within the mall. The connection is still fast despite the fact that there were many of us, using the wifi connection at the SM City Sta. Mesa FoodCourt Area. Of course, there's a reason why SM Sta. C olumbia Pictures has just debuted the teaser trailer of “Evil Dead,” the much anticipated remake of Sam Raimi's 1981 cult-hit horror film “ The Evil Dead ,” at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnTtPTMyCWU. In the new movie, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival. A core cast of young, fresh talent includes Jane Levy (“Suburgatory”) as Mia; Shiloh Fernandez (“Deadgirl,” “Red Riding Hood”) as David; Lou Taylor Pucci (“Carriers”) as Eric; Jessica Lucas (“Cloverfield”) as Olivia and Elizabeth Blackmore (“Legend of the Seeker”) as Natalie.

I just home from the advance screening of I AM NUMBER FOUR at Cinema 6 of SM Megamall. Before I start, let me say that this kind of movies really tickle my fancy. I love fantasy films with great CGI and all that stuff, so when I received an invite for this movie, I immediately said yes. For your reference here's a short synopsis of the film: Extraordinary teen John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events-his first love (Dianna Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny. The film is based on the New York Times best selling novel I Am Number Four , written by Jobie Hughes and James Frey (with the pen name of Pittacus Lore). I forgot to check out...

E mily Blunt made her film debut in 2004 in Pawel Pawlikowski’s dark coming of age tale, My Summer of Love, a daring performance that won her a British Independent Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer. She says it is the only one of her films she recommends people to see. It also happens to be the one in which she spends most time naked. “I’m really proud of it,” she says. “It’s not like any other movie.” She thinks for a second and adds with a laugh, “I don’t know why I’m broadcasting my breasts to the world.
