 I first saw this newly opened Newport Cinema in Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila when they invited me and other bloggers for the special screening of Despicable Me in 3D. The cinemas are spacious and seats are so comfortable. This state of the art theaters are equipped with the latest Dolby Digital Audio technology. They currently have four cinemas and one of those is the Newport ULTRA Cinem a where you can experience twin-seater, fully reclining seats and unlimited popcorn & drinks served by their personal butlers. If you ran out of popcorn or drinks you just have to request through a call button allocated per pod for your personalized service. Cool eh? 'The Red Shoes' Movie, Now Showing!

I was invited by Nuffnang Philippines & Unitel Pictures on The Red Shoes Preview Night at the Podium, last week. The movie may sounds foreign, but it was actually made by Filipinos. It's from the same movie outfit that brought us the hit, Inang Yaya & The Crying Ladies . The Red Shoes is not your usual bubblegum love story, the movie uses a lot of interesting metaphors that makes the film interesting. The choice of Marvin Agustin & Nikki Gil is perfect, I'm not really a fan of these two but after seeing the film, I must say that Nikki Gil is one of those underrated Pinay actresses.   Tessie Tomas sure brought up  the loud laughs among audience and Iwa Moto brings in the hhmmmm... The story does not really happened in real life, but it makes you feel otherwise. A world class film, I must say. It's gonna worth your every peso.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole Movie Review

I watched Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole for two times. One in the advance screening in Cinema 1, SM Megamall courtesy of 99.5 RT and on it's premiere night at IMAX , SM North EDSA the next day. Why? I just want to know what's the difference between the Digital 3D and the 3D at IMAX. When I first saw the trailer of this film, it really caught my attention because of the superb graphic. It has a nice plot too, which makes the movie more interesting. So that means, I have high expectation on this film.
