Vampires Suck Movie Review


I'm not a fan of the Twilight Saga. In fact I haven't see any of the 3 film, so I'm not saying I'm Team Jacob or Team Edward that's for fantards only :) So I'm so excited to this movie which I saw on a special press screening in Glorietta 3 :)

PLOT: 8/10
Becca Crane (Jenn Proske) moves to Sporks to live with her clueless father, Sheriff Frank (Diedrich Bader), after her mother starts an affair with Tiger Woods. Meanwhile killings have been happening to random people and the number one suspects are the Kardashians. Becca is quickly befriended by many students at her new high school, but she is intrigued by the mysterious and aloof Edward Sullen (Matt Lanter), who perplexes her during their time in the biology class. Later, Becca is nearly struck by a van in the school parking lot. Edward inexplicably moves from several feet away and stops the vehicle with a student without any harm to himself or Becca, the student being badly injured. He later refuses to explain this act to Becca and warns her against befriending him.


CAST & CHARACTERS: 8/10
Jenn Proske, Matt Lanter & Christopher N. Riggi is perfect for the role. Matt Lanter and Christopher N. Riggi really looked like sparkling Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner! Their portrayal of the role can really annoy those Twilight die hard fanatics. Lady GaGa and The Black Eyed Peas we're here too.

MUSIC SCORE: 7/10
The music score for a certain movie can either make or break it, this time the music help earn extra laugh among audiences. Though exaggerated at times, but I think that's the whole point of this movie.

SPECIAL EFFECTS/CGI: 8/10
Some funny stints on this movie have to rely on the CGI used in this flick, and they gladly delivered. Expect some non-constant laughs among audience and leave the movie house in a happy state:)

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS MOVIE:  Everyone can enjoyed it, from teenagers to grown up! It's a movie to watch when you want to have a laughing mood upon leaving the cinema. Though many people disliked this movie, I still watch it for the second time if I have the chance.

WHAT I DONT LIKE ABOUT THIS MOVIE: It's exaggerated. It's OA! This movie will be hated by Twilight fantards for sure.

"TOY STORY 3" Opens at #1 in the Philippines

Families and toy lovers propelled Disney/Pixar’s “ Toy Story 3 ” to a No. 1 opening in the Philippines -- garnering a buzz-worthy P55.9-million, 4-day debut weekend gross nationwide for the June 17 to 20 period. This was announced today by Victor R. Cabrera , managing director of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Philippines which distributed the film. Powered by overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth, “ Toy Story 3 ” broke the national, all-time biggest Saturday and Sunday box office records for an animated feature, scoring P20.2-million on Saturday, June 19 and P22-million on Sunday, June 20.
